Waves Byron Bay Hotel

I recently stayed for a weekend getaway, and I enjoyed my trip. The location was unbeatable, just a short walk to the beach and town. The reception staff greeted me with warm smiles and even let me check in early, which was a pleasant surprise. Our room, although a bit simplistic, was nicely decorated and had a lovely bathroom with elegant black tiling. I appreciated the free coffee machine and fresh muffins available in the lobby.

Hard bed and pillows

Location was great, room was great, staff friendly and close to all shops and beach. Couldnt ask for any more.

the staff went beyond expectations to ensure comfort. 10am checkout is a bit early.

Totally lovely stay by about $ 40 per night. Fairly clean place with efficient and competent staff and excellent view of the ocean. Easy check-in, parking on site. Late check-out.

What a great spot for a city getaway! We found the location to be perfect-just a short walk to the beach and all the restaurants and shops you could want. The room itself was modern and comfy, with a huge bathroom that had both a full-size bathtub and a separate shower. Plus, they offered free coffee, juice, and muffins in the lobby every morning-so nice!

Sadly, we faced a major hiccup during our stay—an unplanned power outage that lasted all day. It was super frustrating, especially since we had no prior warning and had plans to prepare for a wedding. some housekeeping details, like the cleanliness of the sheets and balcony, could use improvement. it was a mixed experience!

Close prximity to beach & shops. Excellent, friendly staff & complimentary coffee & muffins each morning. Scenic walk to Byron Bay Lighthouse.

Disappointed that there was no pool but good weather allowed us to enjoy the beach each day instead.

The hotel was very conveniently located, close to shops and the beach. The room very comfortable and clean.

We had anticipated having more space to prepare and eat breakfast but found the small "fridge" full of expensive bar items leaving no room for our own food. It would also have been useful to have some bowls and cutlery not just two mugs.

Penthouse perfection with sea views

Our stay in the penthouse suite was a good experience, complete with two spacious terraces and a beautifully equipped kitchen, great for relaxed evenings indoors.

The bed had a sagging side, and the bar fridge struggled to keep items cool, slightly disappointing given the room's luxury feel.

Staff very helpful. Morning muffins/coffee of excellent standard. Room really good size. Beautiful location.

From the moment myself and my partner checked in we were welcomed my a very helpful and friendly young lady. The rooms were very clean and tidy. My biggest stand out was the comfort of the king size bed in the boutique sweet we rented, pretty hard to get to sleep in my own bed after sleeping there. Very close to the beach. All u I think this place is very good for value. Will stay there again next time in byron.

Some sneaky bugger drank one of the beers in the mini bar and filled it with water and did a great job of recapping it. All good though told the staff and they did not charge me.

Would definitely recommend for a hurried visit

Comfortable room, convenient location, with easy beach access and complimentary muffins and coffee for breakfast each morning.
